Sam Burne James
Sam Burne James is a healthcare and charity-focused PR consultant. He has worked in the press office and social media team for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, which involved close liaison with NHS and Government, and for a National Institute for Health Research-funded project based in King’s College London.
As a consultant, he has written reports and created and planned content for leading healthcare think-tank Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation, the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery and the General Chiropractic Council and led a focus group and market research project for an NHS trust in South London.
Formerly a journalist, he covered public health campaigns and government communications as news editor of PRWeek, and has also written for titles covering the charity, HR and recruitment worlds.
Sam lives in West Kent where he spends as much time as possible learning to garden and trying to pass his love of the great outdoors on to his baby daughter.
