Olivia Maclellan

Junior Consultant

Olivia Maclellan

Olivia began her career in the mental health sector, where she led community-based projects focused on improving access to care and wellbeing. Building on this experience, she completed an MSc in Health Psychology at UCL to deepen her understanding of behaviour, change, and how evidence can inform better health outcomes.

Before joining Claremont, Olivia worked in both community and clinical mental health settings. She led multidisciplinary teams and collaborated with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and community partners to improve access to care. Earlier in her career, she worked at a mental health hospital, specialising on a ward supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behavioural and mental health needs. This experience shaped her person-centred approach and strengthened her ability to translate empathy and evidence into meaningful action.

Since joining Claremont, Olivia has applied her behavioural science and research knowledge to a range of healthcare and social impact projects. Her work includes supporting co-design workshops, qualitative research, and strategy development to help clients better understand audiences and create meaningful, evidence-based change.

Outside of work, Olivia loves exploring new food, places, and activities, enjoys a sea swim, and occasionally makes it to the gym.
