Cynthia has a wide range of experiences rooted in behavioural science, design thinking and qualitative research. She holds a Master’s degree in Design for Interaction (Delft University of Technology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Behaviour Change (University College London).
Prior to joining Claremont, she helped organisations such as the Youth Futures Foundation and Channel 4 uncover audience insights from the perspective of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Here she worked directly with ethnic minority communities in the UK and developed her specialism in online ethnographic research. Through her multidisciplinary background, Cynthia is also passionate about turning insights into strategy and concrete interventions. She has written and designed communications for Motability, Stroke Association and many more organisations spanning across the public, private and charity sector.
In her spare time, she advocates for better mental health and a sustainable future for all. She is currently a trustee at Mind, the mental health charity in England and Wales, where she uses her lived experience to inform the charity’s strategy and EDI efforts. She has also co-founded the Slow Fashion Movement, an international NGO which educates and empowers fashion consumers to make environmentally and socially conscious choices.
